I know everyone is making jokes about the stupidity of Eric Schmitt, my home-state senator, and his idiotic attack on Jack Smith but I have a different take; evil. He’s an evil man. He and Senator Kennedy who held up the sign are evil. The staffers behind them are evil. Anyone who had a hand in this is evil. Those who excuse it are evil. I’ll tell you why, you’re not going to like, but it’s where I am.
What Happened
First off, let’s discuss what happened for those of you who aren’t paying attention to politics anymore for the sake of your sanity. I don’t blame you.
Jack Smith was tasked with investigating Donald Trump in regards to mishandling classified documents and his part in the Jan 6 assault on Congress. Smith produced a report that resulted in 37 indictments which were dismissed when Trump became President in 2024 because a sitting president cannot be charged with a crime.
With Trump in the oval office, an investigation into Smith was ordered. During a hearing Senator Schmitt presented what he thought as evidence of Smith lying about his whereabouts during the investigation. Schmitt and Kennedy accused Smith of perjury and called him names like scumbag. It turns out Schmitt confused an Atlanta Hawks men’s professional basketball game with a women’s college game featuring the Iowa State Hawkeyes and Smith was not lying and did not commit perjury.
When this was pointed out, Schmitt showed no remorse, did not apologize, and attacked the person pointing out the mistake.
Why Schmitt and Kennedy and all the Rest are Evil
The stupidity of the mistake and the absolute arrogance of Schmitt and Kennedy are fodder for a lot of jokes. It’s not funny. They are evil, and those who voted for them and support them support evil.
The mistake is an absolute indictment of a great deal of the Republican party and those who support it. They do not care about this country. They do not care about you. They do not care about truth. They only care about hurting anyone whom they deem an enemy, cheered on by their sickening supporters.
The mistake is so egregious, so obvious, that anyone interested in finding out the truth would have spotted it in seconds. They don’t care about the truth. That’s the mindset of these evil bastards. They just want to hurt people, to destroy lives. Facts and truth are not even considered. The ends absolutely justify the means. It’s not even a debate for them.
They are not even slightly remorseful about trying to destroy Smith’s life, trying to put him in prison, egging on their diseased supporters. They just don’t care. That’s evil. That’s Schmitt, Kennedy, their staffers, and everyone else involved in this disgusting display. Their cohorts in crime continue to attack Smith and, meanwhile, don’t even slightly rebuke Schmitt and Kennedy. They tell jokes about it. Ha, ha.
